  Not sure why the neg reviews. I had an excellent experience : efficient, straight forward. Staff were pleasant and easy going. Made the medical side of things less daunting. Thankyou Benson Radiology!

  Went to Bensons radiology in North Adelaide for a guided epidural.
  I did have one 2 weeks earlier and it was not a good experience.
  This one at Nth Adelaide clinic was amazing from Callum at the desk ringinging around and then no choice managing to squish me in when no others could and the Dr and assistant calming me and chatting the pain was so minimal I assume because he took his time and done an amazing job.
  I have nothing but praise for the North Adelaide team.

  I've been in pain with my cheek for 3 years and none of the technologies can see anything. Really frustrating. There is clearly something wrong.

  I recently had to have two separate biopsies done at the melb st branch and I've had a pleasant experience both times. I saw dr robinson the first time and dr wong the second time and both were fantastic. I also can commend the sonographers I saw both times - the receptionist I booked with made sure that I had the fabulous rachel for both procedures so that I had some continuity. I didn't catch the name of the second sonographer today, (she had short curly hair) but she was wonderful also. everyone I dealt with went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable, after I shared with the receptionist that I was very anxious about the second procedure. they were accommodating to my needs and I felt very well taken care of. I'm so grateful that a stressful experience was handled with the utmost care.

  My first letter to Benson Radiology I sent as I was very dissatisfied on an incorrect diagnoses which correspondence is going back & forth without satisfaction....just excuses on their behalf.
  
  Im writing back as I feel it important to update you. I had 2 MRI's at Bensons & then requestioned the results after I had seen my surgeon. I was told that the doctors who examined my MRI's were adamant that there were no ruptures to my implants & that there was not any free silicone in the capsules, also there could not be silicone in my lymph nodes as there was no rupture & the mass was fat inside there.
  
  I have attached a photograph of my ruptured implant which were explanted last week. Also, there was free silicone within the left capsule as told to me by my surgeon. Today my surgeon called me as the results of tests on the capsules had come back. There was indeed silicone present & due to the extreme thickness of the capsule there was a positive result on my body rejecting my implants due to the rupture.
  
  What I am extremely annoyed by is the incorrect diagnosis. I was wanting a correct diagnosis so I could claim my surgery & to be able to comfortably stay in hospital to recover easily rather than having to come out the next day. I could have stayed in hospital, been paid for by my medical cover rather than pay it myself & having my husband take a week off of work to look after me.
  
  Imagine if I had taken the doctors at Bensons word for it that I had no rupture & continued to get sicker & sicker & the pain & swelling in my arm pit got worse. Imagine if I ended up getting silicone poisoning, ALCL cancer or lymphodema!!!
  
  I am so angry, especially since I requestioned the results & was told there were no ruptures. Im especially worried about the swollen lymph nodes that had a 'snow storm' in them as I wanted one surgery, to have nodes with silicone taken out at the same time as my explant as I wanted to get well. Now Im faced with swelling in nodes still & have to wait...a ticking time bomb.
  
  Very annoyed & unhappy. What other results have these doctors got wrong??!! People need to know this. If they missed my rupture, what else have they missed on patients??? Are other women walking around Adelaide with ticking time bombs inside of them making them ill? Have they missed other things like breast cancer??
  
  Sadly all I get are excuses from them, saying my doctor has no problem with the results. Of course she wouldnt, she was paid for doing my surgery anyway.
