- Nick Hoover1979 Wride Added May 15, 2018★ ★ ★ ★ ★One of Adelaide's true hidden gems in the food scene. The Curries have a wonderful balance of flavors, the atmosphere is outstanding, and the service is second to none. It feels like sitting down for a feast at a friends family's house.
I am a repeat visitor now and the only issue I have is they aren't open on Sundays. I wish they were open 7 days a week.
The Nepalese Goat Curry is one that I would recomment, the meat melts in your mouth and the flavors dance on your tastebuds, and this amazing curry goes perfect with Garlic Roti Bread and a Nepal Ice Beer!
The prices are good too, especially for the outstaning quality food!
If you are looking for a place to bring a group and some members of your group are Vegetartan or (oh God) Vegan, this is the place to take that group, as they have a wide range of Vegetarian and Vegan frendly dishes, that are equally as amazingly delicious as the meat dishes. I went with a vegetarian friend and she had a chick pea curry that was so good, I will order it, in addition to the goat curry on my next visit.
The Dumplings are a must try too, the sauce is amazing and you can get meat or Vegetarian/Vegan friendly dumplings too. When you arrive the staff bring complimentary vegetable fritters with an amazing dipping sauce!
I would recommend trying the singing bowl ceremony afterwards, for a relaxing taste of Nepalese culture. We found the staff to be friendly and helpful. The only thing lacking was flavour in the vegetarian options.
